We are making a car. I know you can buy one, not cheaply necessarily, but with a minimum of fuss. But no, Hamish has to make one for a school project. A balloon powered one no less – no surprise that that alternative technology hasn’t taken off at a commercial level! It’s driving me slowly but surely insane. We are onto model no 3 – and still it wobbles, deviates or sometimes just refuses to go. There is ample information on the web, but somehow its just not coming together for us. Could be that neither of us are remotely interested in building a car, and that all the other children and parents at school seem to be relishing this project with enthusiasm that borders on the evangelical. It is fun working on this together. But when I pointed that out to Hamish, he assured we could just go to the movies or out for coffee if we wanted to do stuff together. Good point. Not long until Twilight no 3.
Ha haah hah ah aha ha. Good old Hamish! He knows the good stuff in life. Movies and coffee. A child after your own heart surely.
Ditch the car.
Tell the teachers you promote walking, which is why you are so diligent about providing walkathon encouragement - hear hear for coffee vans.
